Gerry and Terri started DeAngelo's
in 2003. Previously they were owners of an upscale Italian
restaurant in Baton Rouge, Louisiana called DiNardo's. Their experience
with DiNardo's, coupled with their love for Italian food and quality
ingredients, prompted them to open DeAngelo's, a casual family
oriented restaurant. They felt the combination of New York style
pizzas, calzones and pastas with a Louisiana "flare"
would be just the concept that Bloomington would fall in love
with. The DeAngelo's "staples" such as the pizzas, calzones,
heaping salads and pastas all remain, while additional menu items
are always being created and added.
